To our Current and Future Clients: 

 Veterinary practices are and have been for some time fully booked weeks in advance. While Dr. Himler and the team do their best to get our patients into the office in a timely manner, there are circumstances that are out of our control. Such as “No Shows” and last minute cancellations, these are getting to be an issue in the office when we have several other patients in need of urgent appointments. Please keep in mind the team physically and mentally hurt when we must turn patients in need away or when clients berate the staff for not being able to do better.  

With this information, as of Tuesday November 1st we will be implementing some new policies to help better serve our patients and clients in the future.  

All new clients will be required to pay an appointment deposit of $51.97 (Which is the Office Call) to be put on our schedule. If the appointment is cancelled less than 24 business hours from the scheduled appointment time, that deposit will not be refunded. If your appointment is cancelled prior to 24 business hours, you will be eligible to get your deposit back unless you would like to reschedule.  

For all current clients we will be issuing a $25 broken appointment fee after your third broken appointment. Offenses will be tracked if your appointment is cancelled less than 24 business hours before the scheduled appointment time 

Did you know our office utilizes Petdesk for scheduling and reminders? It is an app you can get on your phone, in which you can schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments. You also receive text and email appointment reminders. While not everyone is utilizing Petdesk with us, we do call the day before appointments if not already confirmed.
