Getting started with your oils
There are 3 methods of using essential oils. They can be used aromatically (inhaled), topically, and orally. The best way to introduce essential oils to your household is aromatically by using a water-based diffuser. You’ll want to run the diffuser in an open/large room and only apply 1-2 drops of the oil of choice. This is the safest way to see what your pet can handle. You will want to monitor your pet for any discomfort, such as putting distance between themselves and the diffuser. Other signs are lethargy, panting, drooling, or eye squinting.
